You can mix the colours within a particular product range of cloth to achieve a discounted price. 50 metres of assorted shades in any one type of cloth, is sold at roll price + £5.00 per shade. The discounts will not be shown to you in the calculation that this catalogue generates towards the end of the ordering process. However, we will apply the discount if applicable, after receipt of your order.

Arbelave Library Buckram
Arbelave Library Buckram, used by all the leading library binders in the United Kingdom, is recognised as the leading library buckram in the U.K. It is suitable for both hand and machine binding. The durable, wipeable and scuff resistant surface can be foil blocked, blind embossed and screen printed. These decoration properties make it very popular with publishers, specifiers and stationery manufacturers.
Arbelave is available in 29 shades on a roll width of 1040mm.

Arbetex Leather Cloth
This strong, cotton based Leather Cloth is nitrocellulose (pyroxylin) coated, resulting in a soft and easily workable cover material suitable for hand and machine binding. The hardwearing wipeable surface is scratch resistant and ideally suited to fine detail foil blocking. It can be embossed in either Morocco or Skiver grains. Arbetex is available in 8 shades. Rolls are 50m x 1295mm.

Archival Buckram
A dyed double-warp 100% buckram cloth, coated with a pigmented acrylic basecoat and clear nitrocellulose gloss, to give a wipeable surface which is excellent for foil blocking and resistant to scuffing and abrasion. This product is termite and mould resistant and is approved by the British Library. Archival Buckram is available in 4 shades on a roll width of 1040mm.

Arlington Bookcloth has been discontinued by the manufacturer, so we are replacing it with Edinburgh Bookcloth - please see below. We expect the transition to Edinburgh to be completed by the middle of 2008

Felt (adhesive backed)
Our Felt is ideal for lining boxes and slipcases. As it is self-adhesive, its application to board and wood could not be easier. The felt is made from a mix of 70% viscose and 30% wool and is available in 5 attractive shades on roll widths of 900mm x 30 metre length. The weight of the material is approximately 170gsm and it has a thickness of approximately 1.0mm. The adhesive is a high-tack modified acrylic transfer tape.
