J. Hewit & Sons will have a stand at the event(s) marked '*'

12th - 14th October 2006
*The Guild of BookWorkers Centennial Celebration
will be held in New York City Celebrate 100 years of the Guild of Book Workers where it all started. A handful of New York City binders gathered together in 1906 to form an organization both to promote the craft of bookbinding and to exchange information about their craft. Today, the Guild is almost 1000 members strong, and embraces all the book arts - from binding to printing to marbling to calligraphy; from the traditional to the avant-garde. And we have expanded geographically too: members are from across the United States as well as around the world. Come join us as we celebrate the art of the book in America and toast the 100th Anniversary of the Guild of Book Workers.
