"This design binding pays homage to the famous 'White Garden' at Sissinghurst Castle, home of Vita Sackville-West. The night garden, illuminated by the moon in mid-summer provides a luminous narrative of light and shadow. Here on the delphinium petals, whites blend with moon beams of subtlety, a deeper conversation with the 'elegiac hoot of an owl'.

Susan Hulme is a visual artist and fine book binder. Raised in the rolling hills of rural Tennessee, it was there that she learned to work with her hands and developed a strong connection to the elements of beauty.
