How to get to there by car

The tannery is approximately 18 miles (29 km) from the centre of Edinburgh. Livingston can be reached from Junction 3 of the M8.

From Junction 3 of the M8, head south on the A899 Livingston Road. After 600 metres, take the slip-road left onto Houstoun Road. This will be signposted Uphall Station and Pumpherston. Nettlehill Road is the second turning on the left. Proceed up Nettlehill Road for about 500 metres, turning left in the dog-leg continuation of Nettlehill Road. We are about 300 metres on the left.

Please note that there is also a Nettlehill Road in Uphall Station (which is on the outskirts of Livingston). If you are using a GPS satellite navigation system, then please ensure that you enter the full post code in to the device.

How to get to there by bus

From Edinburgh City Centre (Regent Road), take the No. 12 or No.16 bus to Livingston. Ask the bus driver to lett you off at the Knightsbridge stop in Livingston. Continue south down the main road, turning left down the slip way into Houstoun Road. Nettlehill Road is the second turning on the left. Walk up Nettlehill Road, turning left at the dog-leg. We are about 300 metres on the left. The walk from the bus stop is about 1 mile.
