Fair goatskin on the front and backboards, hand painted with leather dyes and decorated with various matte and metallic foils. The spine leather, also fair goatskin, was decorated with a selection of gold foils and finished off with real gold foil for the scales, a technique which was also used for the endpapers. Real gold foil edges with gGilt applied leather head and tail bands. The enclosure is housed within a hand-made clamshell back box with labels and a decorated spine. The book is set in Freight Text Pro; all supplemental fonts throughout the book are hand-lettered by Alexis Lampley.
