Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros is a fantasy romance about Violet Sorrengail, a young woman who is forced by her powerful mother to join the deadly dragon-rider training at Basgiath War College—a place where cadets must bond with dragons or die trying. Despite her physical limitations and hostility from others, Violet unexpectedly bonds with two dragons, which gives her unusual strength but also makes her a target. She must navigate rigorous training, dangerous trials, and political tension while forming a complicated romantic relationship with fellow rider Xaden Riorson. The story blends action, magic, dragons, and enemies-to-lovers romance as Violet fights to survive and find her place in a brutal world.
