The tannery is approximately 18 miles from the centre of Edinburgh, and 34 miles from the centre of Glasgow.

Livingston can be reached by taking the M8 from either, and leaving at junction 3. After you leave the motorway, take the A899 into Livingston, and leave at the first exit, following the signs for Houstoun Industrial Estate.
At the first set of traffic lights, turn left onto Nettlehill Road. Continue up the hill, passing DS Packaging (on the right) and Yodel (on your left), then take the next left turn. Go along past the turning for Iceland, and we will be on your left.

Please note that there is also a Nettlehill Road in Uphall Station (a village on the outskirts of Livingston). Please ensure that you choose the correct Nettlehill Road if using a navigation system.

From either Edinburgh or Glasgow, take a train to Uphall Station. The journey takes around 20 minutes from Edinburgh, or 45 from Glasgow, and the trains run every 15-30 min depending on the time of day.

Once you have arrived at Uphall Station, walk down to the main road. Cross over to beside Scotmid, and in the car park on the right you will see blue footpath signs on the lampposts, indicating the direction to go to get to Houstoun Industrial Estate. Once on the path, walk all the way along until it turns & you find yourself at the bottom of a cul-de-sac in the industrial estate.
Leave the path, and walk up past SCS (on your left) & Highlander (on your right), and we will be directly across the road from you!
