The JHS range of papers now consists of 30 designs. The papers are manufactured using a mixture techniques:

  • hand assisted and machine techniques - 65 x 50cm - 115gsm
  • standard printed. The sheet size is 62 x 49cm - 110gsm - 53, 129/04, 129/07, 961, 2201, 2201, 2401 and 2204.
  • The grain direction varies depending on design.
  • Please note that these papers can vary quite dramatically between batches and some of the papers will need to be lined before using as flyleaves.
  • Pattern numbers 69, 121/68, 2201 and 2205 have had black spots added to their designs.

Lovely patterns, good price.

These have a hand-made look (in a positive sense) but without the price of genuine hand-made paper. I didn't buy two of the same so cannot comment on how much variation there is.
