This is good thread. I use it for handmade endbands for bookbinding. I've also used it less successfully for stitching the textblock but it's a little slippery.
This is the more expesive reel/netted silk, as opposed to the S303 spun silk. They colours are very vibrant. This silk used to be available in 10m reels but these are being discontinued in favour of these 30m reels (although I'm unsure if all 180 colours are being replicated). I use about 150cm of thread for a pair of endbands so these 30m reels should last a while.
