We take rough tanned Calfskin and re-tan the skins with Tara. We then soften and shave to 0.8mm to produce a beautiful, silky soft leather.
They are available in five sizes, and can be either necks, kips, or butts:
- Extra Small (<0.39m² / 4.2ft²)
- Small (0.4-0.59m² / 4.3-6.4ft²)
- Medium (0.60-0.79m² / 6.50-8.50ft²)
- Large (0.80-0.99m² / 8.75-10.5²)
- Extra Large (1.00-1.20m² / 10.75-13ft²)
- Standard Substance: 0.8-0.9mm
- Colours available: 8 approximate shades, subject to change
- Grades: Run Selection II/III
The colours of this leather are not intense because this leather is only base dyed as a cheaper aniline leather suitable for staining down to a customer's required shade
