This now discontinued range of Bible End Papers, published by J. Hewit & Sons, is hand printed by The Curwen Studio, Isleworth, UK, on Heritage White 100gsm paper, in a choice of 4 traditional 'Victorian' colours. Heritage is an archival paper, made from high alpha cellulose wood pulp, buffered to a pH of 8.5. The paper is free of optical brighteners, is internally sized with 'Aquapelle' and surface sized with starch.
The usable area on the green sheets is 77 x 54cm, brown 82 x 54cm, yellow 70 x 50cm, and cream 70 x 48cms. All short grain.

Useful for restoring older books. Paper itself is very "white", so needs "toning down" on the other side, which is a faff. It is also rather thicker than most originals. Quite expensive for what it is, but I don't know of any alternative.
