The Woven Chequered headbands are supplied in one size only, nominally size 2. They can be supplied in 1 metre lengths, on 10 metre cards or on 50 metre and 100 metre rolls. These headbands can be used by Hand and Craft Bookbinders, but they are more ideally suited to Mechanical Binding applications.

I never knew what a headband was - I thought perhaps it was something that Olivia Newton John or Axel Rose wore. It wasn't until I started making my own books that I became acquainted with the term. I then started looking at all the headbands in the books in my collection and saw that there was a wide variety of quality. I ended up purchasing them from J Hewit & Sons for my new bookbinding business and they arrived yesterday, several weeks after I adored them because they had to come by international mail from the United Kingdom. I'm absolutely delighted with the quality, the crispness of the colours and the way they were packaged and sent. From now on, any of my colleagues that need headbands-I will definitely point them in the direction of J Hewit & sons.
