"For my fine design binding, I was inspired by Timothy Moore's beautiful copper mesh and mahogany paper making moulds. The New York School of Abstract Expressionists especially Anne Ryan, artist 1889-1954. She enjoyed collaging with handmade paper. She viewed collages like sonnets - shapes packed together in a compressed composition. I used handmade paper and my paste papers to create the paper mosaic collage."
