Over the last seven years leading botanical artists from around the world were invited to paint examples of the plants and trees growing in HRH The Prince of Wales' garden at Highgrove in Gloucestershire.
Addison Publications Ltd was asked by The Prince to make a limited edition publication from these watercolours and The Highgrove
Florilegium is the result. Each Limited Edition Set signed by HRH The Prince of Wales The edition is limited to just 175 numbered sets. His Royal Highness, who wrote the Preface and holds set 1 of 175, has signed each numbered set. All royalties from The Highgrove Florilegium are donated to The Prince's Charities Foundation.
An Entirely British Production - The binding of The Highgrove Florilegium volumes has been painstakingly undertaken by the best craftspeople in Britain, including Stephen Conway, James and Stuart Brockman and Victoria Hall. This encompasses the binding, the gold embossing on Hewit's Straight Grain Aniline Goat and the hand-marbling on the cover.
This is truly a magnificent Royal Florilegium and we hope worthy of the love His Royal Highness has for his garden and the dedication the distinguished artists have for their craft.
