Advanced Punching Cradle

The 120 deg. Hole Punching Cradle for Bookbinding, helps you prepare all the signatures of a book in a consistent and precise manner. With the guidance of this cradle, the sewing holes will always be in the exact same location relative to the top and bottom edges of each sheet or section.

New Design Improvements:

• The width of the groove in the cradle has been reduced from 3 mm to 1 mm, preventing signatures from sinking into the groove.
• A screw has been added at the head of the cradle, allowing you to fine-tune the distance from the top of the signature to the first hole.
• A magnet is now embedded in the awl guide to keep it securely in position and prevent shifting. This ensures precise and repeatable hole placement across all signatures.
• The advanced version includes fixtures that allow you to clamp the cradle to your workbench, as well as hang it on the wall when not in use.

The “Puzzle” version of the tool is 3D-printed in separate pieces and supplied disassembled. Some parts will need to be glued together by the user. Holes are numbered for ease of use and consistent replication across multiple projects.
