Die Bonding Film

Die Bonding Film is a double-sided, heat sensitive film used to secure blocking dies to blocking machines.

• Roll size 75mm x 10m

Instructions

Die bonding film becomes tacky when heated as it is not sticky off the roll.

• Cut pieces to required size.
• Peel-off white backing paper.
• Place cut pieces to the rear surface of the magnesium die or brass block you wish to secure. (It does not matter which side of the tape is placed on the die or block)
• Heat the blocking press or block holder and bring the die or block in place and apply pressure. The heat will activate the adhesive.

The Die Bonding Film will create a very strong bold for repeated embossing and heating cycles. To remove the die or block, heat and apply lateral pressure. Once cool, dirty surfaces and residual adhesive may be scraped clean.
