Exactly what I needed. I expected to need to sharpen it on arrival like a lot of knives like this, but it arrived perfectly sharp. A good entry-level tool, no fuss. I do recommend finishing the handle when it arrives. I gave it a bit of a sanding and then oiled and waxed it.

Very pleased with quick delivery and the Paring Knife. Waiting to learn how to use it but seems to be a sturdy and sharp knife.
I've not used a paring knife before, so I wanted a fairly inexpensive knife to practice with. This appear to be quite a good knife: I intend to sand-down the handle and apply a linseed oil finish and to sharpen and hone the cutting edge. Please with what I have.
